The journal is devoted to researches in all fields of mathematics, including, but not limited to, functional analysis, topology, algebra, discrete mathematics, function theory, complex analysis, probability theory, differential equations, and mathematical physics. Original papers of moderate length are accepted; exception is possible for survey articles. The Editorial Board considers paper written preferable in English. The papers written in other languages (French, German, and Ukrainian) can be considered in exceptional cases by a special decision of the Editorial Board. In the section Chronicles, accepted languages are English and Ukrainian. Published quarterly. 

The original founder was The Lviv Mathematical Society (1991, vol. 1 - 2022, vol. 57, no. 2), from 2022 to the present (vol. 58, no. 2 and beyond) the founders are Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and the Lviv Mathematical Society.

Vol. 6 (1996) - Vol. 47, No. 2 (2017) were published by VNTL publishers for the Lviv Mathematical Society with the financial and organizational support of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv;

Vol. 48, No. 1 (2017) to Vol. 57, No. 2 (2022) were published by VNTL publishers for the Lviv Mathematical Society,

Vol. 58, No. 1 (2022) to the present is published jointly by Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Research Organization Registry ROR ID https://ror.org/01s7y5e82, USREOU number is 02070987) with the partial organizational and financial support of the Lviv Mathematical Society). Open Access Policy

Matematychni Studii follows a policy of immediate open access to published content, supporting the principles of free flow of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge for general social progress.

Matematychni Studii has signed Budapest Open Access Initiative  https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/sign/signatures/ and the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, as the publisher of the Matematychni Studii, is participating in Initiative for Open Citations (I4OC) (see https://openscience.in.ua/open-citations.html and https://i4oc.org/#publishers). 

Matematychni Studii adheres to the principles of DORA (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment) as well as the FAIR principles for research data. All research-related data must be findable, accessible, compliant with generally accepted standards, and suitable for reuse (FAIR — Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

We ask authors to deposit the data underlying their research in appropriate repositories. References to all published datasets must be included in the article metadata. The Editorial Board encourages authors to describe research datasets in accordance with the FAIR principles and, where possible, to make them available under open licenses.

The journal allows authors to deposit a preprint or postprint of their article in an institutional or subject repository, provided that, in the case of a postprint, a reference to the original published version of the article in the journal is included.

Submission and Publication fees

There are no submission or publication fees in our journal. An article submission and its processing, i.e. peer-reviewing, editing and publishing, are free of charge for authors.
